Global Underwater Light Leader Adds a New High Powered Range of Superyacht Lights to their Portfolio
15th November, 2016 OceanLED, the global leader in marine LED lighting, today introduced its new M-Series, with the debut of the M3130w and M3118w, engineered specifically for the Superyacht market. The advanced, underwater LED M-Series lights output up to a truly impressive 14,000 fixture lumens in Ultra White, Midnight Blue light or Colours options.
Designed for the Superyacht market, the OceanLED M-Series uses the same electronics and optics as the hugely successful F, L and V-Series underwater LED lights. The M-Series is a compact, simple to specify and easy to install weld-in LED light which is a perfect choice for new or retro fit projects.
“OceanLED has utilised its highest-quality, optical technology for the new M-Series,” said Charles Stuart, Managing Director of OceanLED. “As a company we have, and continue to invest in our optics and this is what sets us apart in the industry. The M-Series leverages our years of research and development and means we can deliver another ‘Best-In-Class’ product that is a great addition to our Superyacht range”.
The M-Series consists of two lights, the M3130w and the M3118w. With its 30 LEDs, the M3130W comes in a choice of Ultra White and Midnight Blue. The M3118w has 18 RGBW LEDs giving the user an almost unlimited choice of colours that can be integrated in the yachts existing system and controlled using a smartphone or tablet.
With a standard 60˚ x 20˚ or wider beam option, you can choose between precise, focused beams to penetrate much further with no surface or deep water loss or a fan effect giving a superior flood of light, minimizing the dark areas between the lights. The optics used by the M-Series have a well-earned reputation of delivering the best lighting effect available on the market today.
The M-Series comes with a choice of three standard angled cofferdams, 0˚, 5˚ to 30˚, 35˚ to 50˚, in either stainless steel or aluminium. This simplified choice makes it easier for designers to specify and quicker for yards to install saving valuable time on the project.
